Valentine's Day was filled with FUN! At Fun Friday our top cup stacking students competed to be the Cup Stacking Champions & we ended our assembly with our entire K-4th grade doing the Cupid Shuffle!

We are preparing for our K-2 Literacy Night. Come on by to Camp Read-A-Lot on Wednesday March 5th! We will have a guest appearance by Sherri Rinker, author of Mighty, Mighty Construction Site and Steam Train, Dream Train.
We are offering a fan bus to support the 8th grade boys basketball team at state on Thursday! We'd love to see as many students as possible out in full force to give the team the support they deserve! Forms can be picked up/dropped off in the MS office, along with $10, by Thursday at 8 AM. Families, we are offering a fan bus for 5-8 students to the boys state final game on Thursday! Cost is $10 and forms can be picked up/dropped off in the MS office by 8 am Thursday. The boys need all of the support they can get!

The Warriors fall by 4 in overtime to Teutopolis. The Warriors gave incredible effort throughout a hard fought game, highlighted by a Theo Young 3 to tie it at the end of regulation and force overtime! We'll be back at Unity on Thursday evening to take on Calumet City in the 3rd place game. We are so proud of you, Warriors!

Unfortunately, we will need to cancel the fan bus for tomorrow's game due to minimal student sign ups. If your student signed up for this, we will send them home with a refund. We still hope to see you at Tolono! We will plan to offer the fan bus again in the future.
For those 5-8 students interested in attending the state tournament on Saturday, a fan bus form is available in the MS office. I've also added one here in case your student forgets to grab one. Please have your student return them by Friday morning! The bus will depart at 10:45 AM from the MS.
