Due to e-learning, GHES MAP testing has been moved to 1/22-1/26.
Tonight was a great night to be a GHMS Warrior! GHMS 8th Grade Night - Boys Basketball, Cheerleading, & Dance Teams. 💙
Recently, ALL 7 of our 8th Grade Cheerleaders received scholar awards. This scholar award is available to athletes of member schools only by being nominated by their coach and then their grades verified by the school registrar. These athletes were awarded with a certificate by the ICCA, recognized in the ICCA Cheer Championship Program, and they were also each individually announced before the cheer team competed at the ICCA State Championship. Congratulations ladies!
I hope everyone is enjoying their e-learning day. Remember that your teachers will be available for questions via email from 10:00 am through 3:00 pm.
Resources with ideas for activities are available from our Specials teachers through the following link.

The GHES students had "snow" much fun today at recess!!
Due to the weather, all extracurricular activities are cancelled for this afternoon and evening. This includes all clubs and athletics. Drive safely!
Middle school students will be MAP testing during the morning of Tuesday, January 9th and Wednesday, January 10th. It is important to get quality sleep the night before and to make sure your student eats a good breakfast before school!
Congratulations to this week's dude.we.see.you winner, Gunner Watts. He was nominated by two different students. One student mentioned that Gunner stood up for him when he needed it; another student mentioned that Gunner gave up his candy cane during the Minute-to-Win-It games. Gunner, we see you. Awesome job!
Mrs. Theiler's class wrote to Santa and received letters back from the North Pole!
More Minute-to-Win-It photos!
Today we played Minute-to-Win-It games in our afternoon assembly. The Student Council set this up as a prize for all the students who brought in toys for the Salvation Army. Great charity work and a really fun assembly!
Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Loring and Mrs. Anderson for a wonderful Holiday Assembly today!

Santa Claus and his very tall elf came to spread some cheer in our Skillbuilders classrooms today!
Congratulations to this week's dude.we.see.you winner, Tyler Culp! Here is what a student wrote about Tyler: "He is always in a good mood. All around helpful and kind." Tyler has also been our student photographer for the Student Council this year. Great job, Tyler!
Holiday spirit was all around today, as students dressed up in their Santa hats!
