Information from IESA regarding the start time for tonight's state volleyball game:
Due to the moderate weather advisory for Friday evening, the 7th Grade Girls Volleyball State Finals will be adjusting the time schedule.
The first match of the night will begin at 4:30pm, the second match will begin warm-ups at the conclusion of the first match, and so forth and so on. Please plan to arrive earlier than you initially anticipated to make sure that your team has enough time for dressing and photos.
The Warriors will be the second match of the evening. GHMS would suggest arriving between 5:15 and 5:30! You can purchase your tickets ahead of time at the shared link! https://gofan.co/event/1581148?schoolId=IL86333

Girl Scout Troop 4041 and 4124 are hosting a dance to celebrate Daughters!!

We will be offering a fan bus for Friday evening to support the 7th grade girls volleyball team at the state tournament in Warrensburg. The cost for Friday is $10 and we will plan to depart from GHMS at 3:50 and return by approximately 9 PM!
If the girls win on Friday night, we will also offer a fan bus for Saturday as well. The girls would be guaranteed two games on Saturday and will play at 11:00 AM. The bus will depart at 9 AM from GHMS. If the girls win, they would play again at 3:15 PM for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. If they lose the first game on Saturday, they will play at 2:00 PM for the 3rd place game. The cost for this game is $10. Students would return by roughly 4 PM if they play in the 3rd place game, and 6:30 PM if they play in the championship!
You can choose to attend one or both, but these are separate forms. If you'd like to attend both, we will need your two forms plus $20. If you want to attend just Friday or just Saturday, you only need to turn in that day's form and $10. If we have to cancel the bus for Saturday, we will send your student home with their money on Monday next week. Permission slips for both games are due on Thursday!
