Congratulations to our Perseverance Purposefull People award winners for the month of January. These students showed the ability to push themselves or find ways to work through challenges and obstacles. In February, we will be focusing on honesty!
The 7th grade boys basketball team will play Metamora for the Regional Championship tonight. Game time is 6pm at Washington Middle School. I will be offering triple house points for any student or staff member who attends the game. Just come and find me in the stands. Hope to see you there!

GHES will begin our annual Cuddles with Kindness campaign. We will begin collection on Monday, January 27th-Thursday, February 6th. All stuffed animals do need to be new with tags.

Our Kindergarten team took PJ day very seriously today! They were ready to represent their sections and stay cozy!!
Congratulations goes out to the GHMS volleyball team as they sweep the EP Wildcats in their first home game last week. Come out tonight and see them take on the Potters from Morton! Game starts at 4:15.
Congratulations to the winners of the 3rd Golden Ticket Lunch! These students received tickets for good behavior throughout the month. Their names were then drawn for the golden ticket lunch.
Since we did not have school today, we will move our Snuggie/pajama day to tomorrow (Wednesday). Students can stay warm and earn House points!
All E-Learning materials will be in Google Classroom for middle school students to access by 10 am. Click on classwork at the top of the page to see and access assigned work. There is heading in each Google Classroom with an E Learning title and work should be located in that section. It is shown in the image included in the post.
Due to the forecasted cold weather on Tuesday, all students will have a dress up day. We ask all students to wear their Pj's, a Snuggie or Comfy, or anything that will help keep them warm!
