Please welcome our new cheerleading coach, Hayley Bradbury! 2024-2025 Tryouts will begin on Friday, May 17th from 3:30-5. Throughout next week, cheer workshop will be held Monday-Wednesday from 3:15-5:15. These tryouts and workshops are open to students will be entering 5th grade through 8th. Athletes must have a current sports physical on file to participate!

Our kindergarteners were watching their new friends learn to swim before sending them off to their forever home. The kindergarten team hatched over 20 ducklings and learned everything about ducks from pipping to preening.
Make sure to come this Friday to the Germantown Hills Family Festival! The event will be located in the parking lot between the playground and the school building. Activities include carnival-like games, family games, face painting, and magic. Multiple food trucks(El Paso Food Truck, Rubi's Brick Oven Pizza, and Sweet Girl Treats) will be present, and a firetruck will be coming. Any donation gets you in the door, and all proceeds go towards inclusive playground equipment.

Over the last 10 years, Doc M has been collecting TI Inspire purchase points coupons. This past year she had enough, (with the aid of Mrs. Walton from the high school who gave her two more coupons) to get 30 new calculators from TI Inspire for free! These are one of the models that will be used at the high school next year. Thank you to all the students over the years who have given her the coupons and allowed the district to save $600!

Laps for Life 2024 has officially kicked-off. Students received all of the information today during an assembly. Last year we raised approximately $26,000 for the kids and families of St Jude, and we are hoping to get a total of $30,000 this year. Money should be collected next week, May 6th - May 10th. All money needs to be turned in by Friday, May 10th.
