Veterans Day Invitation – Honoring Our Heroes
Attention Germantown Hills Veterans and Active Duty Service Members!
Germantown Hills School District #69 warmly invites you to our annual Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the JDS Gymnasium.
Join us as we honor and celebrate the courage and service of our military heroes. The assembly will last approximately one hour and will be followed by a special luncheon for veterans and one guest at 11:30 a.m. in the Monte Cristo Room in Germantown Hills.
This invitation is open to:
- All veterans and active duty military in our community
- Extended family members of GHSD #69 students who have served or are serving
Know a veteran in our area who may not have students in the district? Please help us spread the word and share this invitation with them!

Over the weekend, the Warrior cheerleaders hosted a mini cheer clinic with the elementary students. We are entering our Warriors Cheer Era! Come support the girls home opening basketball game tomorrow at 5 pm and watch the mini cheerleaders perform during the half times of the 7th and 8th grade games! Good luck, Warriors!

Girls basketball kicks off their season on Tuesday with a home game against Brimfield starting at 5 PM! Student Council will be hosting theme nights for each home game again this season. Tuesday night will be Neon Night! Pack the JDS!!!

Ms. Ganson's 7th grade science students finished the first day of their pond water lab in the school garden as they discovered how to capture microscopic organisms and macroinvertebrates, how to identify the organisms using a microscope, and how these organisms are used to determine the water quality of the pond.
