Saturday November 4th, the Germantown Hills Girls and Boys Basketball Teams will be taking on Metamora Grade. Proceeds from the games will be donated to Peoria Honor Flight, which sends Veterans to Washington DC for the day with a guest.

The elementary students did an amazing job today practicing their bus safety and learning what to do on the bus in case on an emergency! Great Work Warriors!
Tryouts for the boys basketball teams will begin Monday Oct. 16th. 7th grade tryouts will be from after school until 4:30 and 8th grade will be from 4:30-6:30. For those interested, 6th and 7th graders will be trying for the 7th grade team. 8th graders for 8th grade team. If you are planning to try out all players must have an updated physical to tryout for the teams.
Tonight's Baseball Game vs. Metamora has been canceled due to the weather.
The baseball game between Germantown Hills and Metamora has been rescheduled for 7:00pm on September 11th at MTHS.
Reminder: Travel basketball registration is now open at www.mysasports.org for boys and girls grades 3-6. Registration closes on September 2nd. GHAA and MYSA are merging all travel basketball programs for the 2023-24 season.
Warrior girls basketball try-outs start today after school until 4:30. Participants should be picked up by the middle school entrance.

Warrior Girls Basketball Try-Outs are quickly approaching. Students are required to have an updated sports physical turned into the office in order to try-out for the team. If you are unsure if a physical is up to date you can call/ check in at the office.
Girls Basketball Try-Outs will start August 28th & 29th after school.
GHMS Back to School Dance
Unfortunately, we are still having issues with parent access to Skyward. We are working to get this corrected ASAP. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We have completed our Skyward rollover! If you have not yet registered your child, please be sure to do so by the end of the day on Thursday, August 10th. If you need assistance, please contact your child's school office.
Due to the delay from the Skyward rollover, student homeroom teachers will not be posted until later next week (Week of August 7th). More details to come!
WARRIORS-REDBIRDS CHEER CLINIC - The new scheduled date for the cheerleading clinic is Saturday, 9/16/23. If you previously registered for the 8/5/23 cheer clinic, your registration will carry over to the new date of 9/16/23. Attached is the registration form with additional information.

Please join us for the Germantown Hills Elementary Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 15th. Open house for Kindergarten students is from 4:30-5:30 and 1st-4th grade Open House is from 5:30 to 6:30. During these times, students and families can meet their teachers and bring in their school supplies. There will be a meet and greet of new staff with some back to school reminder information in the JDS Gym starting at 5:30. Hope to see you there!
Back to School Night for the middle school is almost upon us! Please join us on Monday, August 14th from 4:30-6:30pm. This will be an Open House format, so parents and students can come and go as they please. Students will get their schedules and their locker combinations in the West Gym. They will then be able to see their new classrooms, drop off supplies, and meet all of their teachers. Hope to see you there!
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Cross Country season has officially begun! The absolute last day any new athletes will be taken for the team will be next Monday, August 7th. All paperwork and activity fees ($25 by cash or check made out to Germantown Hills School District #69) are due ASAP. No child will be able to practice without an updated sports physical.
There will be an informational parent meeting next Monday, August 7th at 6:00 in the chorus room located by the middle school office. Please plan on attending to learn about the upcoming season.
