We are counting down the days till Wednesday. Unfortunately, when we tried to use our oven this morning it was determined to have an issue with the gas line. Our custodians are working hard on fixing the problem. We cannot guarantee at this time that it will be fixed by Wednesday, so we are advising families they may wish to consider sending cold lunch as the menu for the first day of school has changed. Hot lunch will now be Turkey & Cheese Tortilla Wrap, Garden Salad, Mandarin Oranges, and Milk. Salad Bar will be Chef Salad, Fruit, Grain, and Milk. We anticipate having the ovens ready to go on Thursday, but we will keep you updated once we know for sure. Thank you for your flexibility and patience. Please email me with any questions.

Good morning families! We are ready to see our students tonight, tomorrow night, and Wednesday morning. We wanted to let you know about an additional photo op outside of door #9 that will only be here Monday and Tuesday. The big sign out front when you enter the parking lot will be up through Thursday. Please be mindful of the traffic that can occur in the mornings during drop off and pick up if you are wanting to get your child(ren)’s picture taken. And please be respectful of those patiently waiting their turn for these special moments.

Baseball and Cross-Country start Monday 8/4! All athletes must be registered for school (via Skyward) and the sport (via SNAP). They must have a valid sports physical on file!
Baseball (Grades 6-8)- 8 AM- 10:30 AM at MTCO Park
Cross Country (Grades 5-8)- 8 AM- 9:30 AM at GHMS Door 9.

Athletic registration reminder: Please register your athletes prior to the start of softball, baseball, and cross-country. They must have a current sports physical in order to tryout. Softball tryouts begin Monday, 7/28 at 9 AM at MTCO Park. Baseball and cross-country begin on Monday 8/4.

Please be advised: The elementary parking area starting with the blacktop by door #9 will be repaved the week of July 14-18. Please do not park or drive in this area during that time frame.
Additionally, the JDS Gym, the Commons, and the area in front of the library/district office will be closed for 2 weeks starting this Friday afternoon (July 11th thru July 27th) to redo the floors. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. \

Online Registration is Open!
Online registration for new and returning students is now open and will ill run through Wednesday, July 23. New and returning students may access the online registration by clicking “Student Registration” on the District website. Please note that ALL families (new and returning) will need to complete the proof of residency information.
In order for us to have time to complete class assignments and schedules, it is imperative that students are registered by July 23. If you encounter any difficulties registering your child(ren), please contact the elementary or middle school offices. Summer office hours are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Students who qualify for free lunch will have their registration fees waived. Students receiving reduced priced lunch will pay a reduced registration fee

Attention baseball and softball families:
Due to a scheduled tournament at MTCO Park next week, the baseball and softball open fields have been canceled for the week of 6/23. Baseball will have one tomorrow, 6/19, and pick back up on 7/1. Softball has rescheduled their open field to 7/8 from 11:30-1 PM at MTCO Park.
