This week's Warrior athletic events!
The Bradley University Cheerleaders came to the school on Saturday and spent the morning with GHMS cheer squad. They worked on stunts, cheers, and motions! The girls worked so hard and learned so much! Thank you BU Cheer for creating core memories for these girls! ❤️🤍💙🤍
Middle school students received treats for perfect attendance for the month of August today!
Art club is back every Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 for middle school students!
The cross country team practiced yoga for their Fun Friday workout!

Girls basketball registration is open for athletes in 6th-8th grade! Athletes must have a valid sports physical in order to participate. Tryouts will begin after school on Tuesday 9/3. XC and softball athletes will be able to try out during 8th hour!

Congratulations to the cross country team on their hard work at the Metamora Invite over the weekend. Mitch Hohulin came in 12th in the Boys Varsity race and the entire Boys Varsity came in 4th place overall. Nice job, Warriors. Also, just a reminder, students can earn House points for supporting our Warriors as fans both at home and away. If it's an away game, just send me a picture of you at the game or meet!

Congratulations to the girls’ softball team for winning 11-1 over Kewanee last night. The team combined efforts to earn 11 hits and 11 RBI’s! Great job, girls!
Congratulations to the Cross Country team on an impressive showing in Eureka last night. Zane Kingham came in first in his race while several other runners received a new PR for the season! The team will next compete in the Metamora Invite at Black Partridge on Saturday.
Congratulations to the boys baseball team on winning their season opener on Saturday by a score of 14-2 against Dunlap Middle!
Warrior athletes were on fire this weekend! Way to work! Softball heads to Morton tonight with baseball facing East Peoria at home. Both games start at 4:15. Cross country is back in action tomorrow night at Eureka. Good luck, Warriors!
