Floor hockey registration is now open!
¨ This is an intramural floor hockey league open to all 5th-8th boys and girls who are meeting academic, behavioral and attendance eligibility requirements.
¨ There will be a $5 charge this year to replace some equipment.
¨ Teams will be formed by Mr. Mair and Mr. Scott. We will balance teams out by age and previous experience playing hockey.
¨ We will do our best to schedule around students’ other before school commitments such as band practice.
¨ The regular and play-off seasons will run from January 9th through March 24th with games being played in the Multi-purpose Room on Mondays – Fridays at 7:00 a.m.
¨ The number of games will be dependent on the number of participants, but we anticipate that there will be about 9 regular season games plus the play-off tournament. Teams will typically have 1 game a week.
¨ Students must provide their own transportation, but we will work to have team carpools formed. Team rosters and schedules will be finalized right after the holiday break. They will be posted outside Mr. Mair’s office and emailed home.
¨ If you would like to participate, please get a registration form in the middle school office or Mr. Mair's office. The form and $5 must be returned to the Middle School office by Monday, December 19th. Checks may be made to Germantown Hills Middle School. If you have any questions, please see/contact Mr. Mair.
