On November 8th, Germantown Hills School District will have two referenda on the ballot.
Ballot Issue #1 is asking voters to decide whether or not to increase the maximum Education Levy tax rate by 30 cents. The maximum Education Levy tax rate has not been increased since 1991!
Ballot Issue #2 is asking voters to decide whether or not to allow the District to sell $7 million in bonds for the purpose of developing an community athletic complex.
If both referenda were to pass, the tax rate would actually go down.
