State of District

On Monday, January 22, 2023, Germantown Hills School District will be hosting a "State of the District" Dinner and Presentation.  The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with registration in the District Commons area.

Registration will be followed by a presentation by Julie Smith, a professor at Webster University and author of Master the Media: How Teaching Media Can Save Our Plugged-In World.  She will be presenting on strategies to help parents navigate the increasingly complex world of digital media.  

Following Julie's presentation, we will have dinner, which will include soups (Chicken Wild Rice, Broccoli Cheddar, and Chicken Tortilla).  Toppings will be seasoned croutons, saltines, cheese, tortilla strips.) and a Salad Bar (romaine, spring mix, cheese, grape tomatoes, red onion, egg, chickpeas, black olives, etc.  Dressing choices, Ranch, Homemade Italian, French) Dinner will be provided by the District. 

During dinner, we will give an update on the District as well as present the District's new strategic plan, which focuses on the on the following areas: Curriculum & Student Performance, Student Services, District Finances, Facilities, and District-Community Relations.  There will be ample time for questions & answers.
