Our fields at MTCO Park are still very new and in excellent condition, and we want to make sure they stay that way for our children, families, and athletes. We’re proud to have a space our community can enjoy, and with your help, we can keep it clean, safe, and game‑ready.
Our baseball and softball fields are fenced in for one reason: player safety.
They are not fenced in to serve as a dog park.
Pets are welcome on the premises, but please do not bring animals inside the fenced‑in field areas.
Bringing animals inside the playing fields can cause several issues, including:
Health & Sanitation: Pet waste—even when picked up—can leave bacteria behind, posing health risks to young athletes who slide, dive, and play on the turf.
Field Damage: Claws can tear turf, dig up dirt surfaces, or damage bases and mounds, leading to costly repairs.
Maintenance Costs: Keeping fields game‑ready requires significant upkeep; preventing avoidable wear helps preserve the fields for years to come.
Together, we can protect these fields and keep them in top condition for everyone who enjoys them.
Thank you for helping us care for our community’s home for baseball and softball!
